About
In partnership with the Town of Oakville (Recreation and Culture Dept.) and facilitated by Nancy Beddoe, this Death Café is an opportunity for older adults to engage in conversations that honor their life's experiences and invite meaningful reflections on the transitions of aging and mortality.
This event is intended to increase participants' awareness of death, and explore our relationships with dying, death, loss and grief. As we grapple with what life looks like today, having a safe and non-judgmental space to talk about difficult subjects is so important and can have a significant impact both on how we live and how we die.
