About

Over 70% of Canadian households have a pet, and a unique and deep connection exists between people and their pets – they truly are beloved members of the family. A pet’s companionship and unconditional love often greatly adds to a person’s quality of life, particularly so for those who may be living alone. It can be devastating for a client facing a life-limiting illness to be heartbroken and frantically worrying about their pets; both in terms of being able to continue to care for them, and what will happen to them when they die.

Pam Keetch, Program Manager of The Bello Project, will be joined by HHA Co-Founder and CEO, Tracey Robertson, for an evening of exploration of some situations you may find yourself experiencing when there is a pet in the home of your client. Learn more about The Bello Project and how it could help to grow your client base or supplement your Death Doula experience.

This event is only open to our HHA Death Doulas, Infant & Pregnancy Loss Support Professionals, and Candidates. Registration for this event is not required. Please check your Google Calendar/Classroom/Email for your invitation and event link.

If you’re not yet a member of our HHA Death Worker Family but are interested in joining our circle of care, please contact us at info@homehospiceassociation.com for more information, or consider registering for our Death Doula Certificate Program.
