Here is The Monday Motivation (TMM) for you! Have a super wonderful week ahead.
For me, it’s all about wanting to make a difference. I became interested in Home Hospice Association after learning about The Bello Project on social media. I had volunteered for a dog rescue for several years, and knew from that experience that there was a real need for support for people and their beloved pets when they are faced with a life-limiting illness. Often families apply pressure to have a terminally ill person’s pets re-homed very early in their illness, because it is something that they *can* do when so many other things are out of their control. One of my own previous rescue foster dogs came to me from a situation where his owner was dying of cancer; sadly she passed away before she knew that I “failed fostering 101” and adopted and loved him for the rest of his life. I consider my pets my family, and know firsthand how important the companionship and love shared between a person and their pet is to their quality of life and well being.
The Bello Project speaks deeply to my heart and soul, and I know that I have to do whatever I can to help provide this program to those that need it in our communities. I may be only one person, but I keep this quote on my fridge to inspire me.
